Important: Unnatti Car Rental does not store complete debit card, credit card, or CVV details. Such payments are processed through secure RBI-compliant payment gateways.

  • Device Identifiers

Where the Vehicle is equipped with a GPS or telematics device, location data may also be collected from the vehicle during the booking period to support safety, theft prevention, trip verification, and roadside assistance.

3. WHY WE COLLECT YOUR INFORMATION

Unnatti Car Rental collects personal information only for lawful, legitimate, and business-related purposes necessary to operate the Platform, protect Vehicle Owners and Customers, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.

Depending on your interaction with the Platform, your information may be used for the following purposes.

4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION

We use your information to:

  • Create and maintain your account.
  • Verify your identity.
  • Complete KYC verification.
  • Verify Driving Licence details.
  • Verify Vehicle Ownership.
  • Prevent fake accounts.
  • Prevent identity theft.
  • Prevent duplicate registrations.
  • Verify legal eligibility to use our Platform.

5. BOOKING MANAGEMENT

Payment transactions are processed through RBI-compliant payment partners. Unnatti Car Rental does not store complete card credentials.

7. VEHICLE SAFETY & TRIP MANAGEMENT

To help ensure the safety of Customers, Vehicle Owners, and the Vehicle, we may use your information to:

  • Verify trip commencement and completion.
  • Monitor booking status.
  • Coordinate roadside assistance.
  • Respond to emergencies.
  • Detect vehicle misuse.
  • Support vehicle recovery in the event of theft or non-return.
  • Assist in investigating accidents or disputes.

8. LOCATION DATA & GPS TRACKING

With your consent and where applicable, we may collect location information during an active booking.

  • Vehicle location through installed GPS/telematics devices (if fitted by the Vehicle Owner or the Company).

Location information may be used solely for legitimate operational purposes, including:

  • Route deviation alerts.
  • Vehicle return verification.
  • Dispute resolution.
  • Insurance claim support.

Except where required by law or necessary for safety, we do not track Customers outside the active booking period.

  • Pickup and return schedules.

Information shared is limited to what is reasonably necessary for completing the booking safely and efficiently.

15. WHEN WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

Unnatti Car Rental values your privacy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only where necessary for providing our services, complying with legal obligations, protecting our rights, or where you have provided consent.

16. SHARING WITH VEHICLE OWNERS & CUSTOMERS

To facilitate a booking, we may share limited information between the Customer and the Vehicle Owner, including:

  • Contact number (where necessary)
  • Booking details
  • Pickup and return schedules
  • Vehicle information
  • Emergency contact details (where reasonably required)

Only the minimum information necessary to complete the booking safely and efficiently will be shared.

17. SHARING WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS
